In a cooperative effort with the Raleigh County Commission and Raleigh County Sheriff, Danny Moore the Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority now has a full time professional law officer assisting us in making our county a cleaner and better place to live and work.

Retired Sheriff’s Deputy Lt. Jimmy Stone now patrols the county enforcing State Litter and Open Dumping Laws. Fully equipped in a marked vehicle with police communications Lt. Stone stays busy responding to citizen’s complaints and supervising our full time Litter Control Staff.
